I’m Garrett, an experienced engineer and product leader with a knack for getting involved in tricky and interesting product and engineering problems. While I’m a mechanical engineer by training, I’ve built experience across the spectrum, from consumer products to scientific equipment to industrial green tech. 

I’ve started a company creating IoT snow measurement devices , built cross platform mobile and web apps in Flutter, designed award winning climbing and ski equipment, simulated and optimized thermal management of high power wireless EV charging equipment, setup manufacturing processes in the US, Europe, and Asia, and integrated LLMs into timesaving voice assistants for avalanche forecasters. 

This wide range of experience has allowed me to collaborate with amazing colleagues in industrial design, magnetics, low and high power electronics, software, manufacturing, and business development, and given me a perspective to solve problems while considering everyone’s needs. 

In my free time, I’m outside - skiing, climbing, biking, exploring with snowblades on my back, and taking photos (occasionally professionally!).
